Detection of exoplanets by gravitational microlensing
Sedighe Sajadian- SUT

Abstract:
In recent years a large number of planets with very small period named as Hot Jupiters, are detected around the stars with the methods of transit and Doppler effect. In this work we have investigated illuminating Hot Jupiters by caustic crossing. It seems that effect of Hot Jupiters is illuminated near peak of magnification of its host star in infrared band. Detection by caustic crossing is direct detection method and it is useful in studding of atmospheres of Hot Jupiters. We plotted the light curve of Hot Jupiters when crosses the caustic and performed Monte Carlo simulation for studding the probability of this phenomenon. At last we investigated effects of all (physical and geometrical) parameters in the program, on efficiency.
