School of Astronomy (SoA) Weekly Seminar

Are Small nu masses unveiling the missing mass problem of the universe?

Yasaman Farzan- IPM

Abstract:
The missing mass problem of the universe and tiny but nonzero
neutrino masses are two great mysteries before the modern cosmologists and
particle physicists. In this talk, I will present a scenario that provides
explanation for both these problems. Accommodating the correct dark matter
abundance and the observed neutrino parameters constrains the parameters in the model. I will introduce observables that can check the validity of this
model
