Modeling local features during inflation and curvature perturbations with spiky non-Gaussianities

Abstract

In this talk we study different mechanisms which can create local features in curvature perturbations power spectrum. This includes a rapid change in Newton constant during inflation, a rapid change in fluid's equation of state
and waterfall phase transition during inflation. The effects of these dynamics on curvature perturbations and producing spiky non-Gaussianities on CMB are studied.
